CKF is a proud partner of the AST Living Donor Circle of Excellence.

The Chris Klug Foundation's (CKF) mission is to educate individuals nationwide to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors and inspire those in the transplant community. Our vision is to eliminate the wait for a transplant. CKF uses the stories of organ donors, transplant candidates, recipients, and more to inspire, alongside events, school courses, and webinars to educate. All with the end goal of encouraging individuals to give the gift of life and register as organ donors. Each year, CKF connects with over a million individuals nationwide about the gift of life.

CKF's programming includes Toolkits for Teachers--free online curricula for Elementary, Middle, and High School students; Donor Dudes--community awareness events; CKF Webinars--discussions about topics not usually discussed; CKF Awards--donor, recipient, and community member honor program; CKF Ambassadors--nationwide volunteers; Donor Stories--online blog/vlog; and Patient Ambassador Tours--hospital and transplant center support visits. CKF is also involved in a number of events, including its flagship event and the kick-off to winter in Aspen, Summit for Life, a winter nighttime uphill race on Aspen Mountain.
